Vendors require pre-approval and must meet the guidelines of REpurposing, REfurbishing, and REfreshing. Products will need to consist of handmade, homemade, refurbished, reimagined, upcycled, vintage, or antique goods consistent with the Born in a Barn theme.

HERE’S THE SCOOP FOR 2018:
We will again be charging guests a $5 entrance fee (children are free) to enjoy a day at Born in a Barn. This fee helps pay for all the live music, the Barn Boys, the ever-increasing line of porta potties (I heard your plea last year and will be placing a few more closer to the red barn so the vendors don’t have to travel so far!), garbage disposal, security, and so much more!
The food court over by the bunkhouse was a huge success for both vendors and customers. They shopped, took a snack break and shopped some more. We are looking for non-duplicated food providers, and unique, homemade items. The Bale Bar hosted by one of our local bars was a great success, so we will continue that as well. Food booths will be in tents and trailers only again this year. We request that your food booths include some type of décor in keeping with our barn theme; that is, more than just a white tent and table. We will provide hay-bale seating and some tables and chairs, but please bring additional seating if you’d like!
All vendors will be placed as we see fit, to prevent all jewelry vendors or furniture vendors getting clumped up together, and to facilitate traffic flow. Your products will need to consist of handmade, homemade, refurbished, reimagined, upcycled, vintage, or antique goods. What we are not looking for is regular retail booths or chain sales such as jewelry (Lia Sophia), cookware (Pampered Chef), etc. I have nothing against these types of products; this just isn’t the right venue for them.
Big barn vendors will have the luxury of being inside and locked up at night! Reservations for indoor barn booths will be granted on a first come, first paid basis. Inside the big barn we have room for 15 vendors – 8 with electrical in 16′ x 15′ spaces in the wings of the barn, and 10 without electrical in 8′ x 10′ (doubles available) spaces down the center of the barn. We will also have 2 large 24′ x 15′ corner booths with electrical available in the big barn.
Outside in the barn yard, you can set up a 10’ x 10’ tent or awning or be brave and spread out without cover. You may also purchase a 10′ x 20′ double booth. If you are so lucky as to have a trailer, van, or camper that you sell out of, send me a photo and we will see if we can fit it in for your outside booth.
In the old red barn we have five 6.5’ x 4.5’ stalls, side by side – these are ideal for vendors with small items (jewelry, etc.). We do have a few additional odd-sized spaces in the old barn, so if you are interested in these let me know.
Set up for SHERIDAN vendors: Wednesday, September 5, from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 pm.
(at least get the majority of your stuff in Wednesday so out-of-town vendors
have more room to move vehicles and trailers around on Thursday)
Set up for OUT OF TOWN vendors: Thursday, September 6, from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 pm.
All vehicles must be removed from the area no later than 6:00 pm. both days.
There will be no setup allowed Friday morning.
And what will you get for this minimal investment, you ask? I will provide the space, the parking, the signage and the advertising (this year I will be buying additional ads in Billings, Gillette and Casper). We also provide our own Barn Boys, to help buyers load their large purchases. And I’m going to rent 16 porta potties for the public and 2 private for our vendors. Oh, and chickens – the chickens will be here!!
